Texas surf masters was created as a way to give back to the fishing community! We grew up fish the surf as many of you have! We were young and didn’t have much experience besides watching our parents, grandparents and uncles casting calcutta cane rods with leather thumb pads as the drag on a direct drive reel! We have certainly gone thru some tackle transformations over the past 30-40 years  as we now crank down on 25- 40 lbs of drag on our aluminum reels.

This will be a developing site in the near future as you will see many changes for the benefit of the fisherperson in the quest for your personal best catch.
